Onda

Mobile-first coastal field intelligence for San Juan: surf-zone forecasts, recent buoy observations, and quick field logging in one analysis-ready workflow.

Data integrationField intelligenceMobile UXApplied AI exploration

01 / THE PROBLEM

A real question to work on.

Field observations and ocean-condition data live in different places. How can someone combine them into a useful, traceable workflow while in the field?

02 / WHAT EXISTS

The starting point.

Onda combines National Weather Service surf-zone forecasts, recent NOAA buoy observations, and fast field logging. It is a data-integration and field-workflow proof of concept, not a claim of an existing AI forecasting model or a safety advisory service.

03 / WHERE YOU COME IN

Make a useful contribution.

Suggested collaboration areas: resilient data integrations and freshness checks; mobile field-logging UX; reproducible analysis; exploring an evidence-grounded AI summary as a future feature.

A good first conversation

Try the field workflow and identify one integration, data-quality check, or usability improvement you could contribute. Discuss any new AI feature as a proposal, not an existing capability.
